1. The setting of the inspection room should fully consider the surrounding radiation safety. The operation room should be separated from the inspection room and try to avoid the direction of the beam irradiation.

2. Partition management should be implemented for the testing workplace. Generally, the inner area enclosed by the wall of the inspection room is designated as a control area, and the adjacent area outside the wall is designated as a supervision area.

3. The radiation shielding of the X-ray inspection room wall and the entrance door shall simultaneously satisfy:
(1) The weekly dose reference control level of the person at the point of interest is no more than 100uSv/week for the professional staff and no more than 5uSv/week for the public.
(2) The highest surrounding dose equivalent rate reference control level is not more than 2.5uSv/h

4. The radiation shielding at the top of the inspection room shall meet:
(1) Peripheral dose reference control for personnel at the point of interest when the adjacent building above the inspection room or the adjacent building adjacent to the inspection room is within the solid angle from the radiation source point to the edge of the inner surface of the inspection room. Level, no more than 100uSv/week for professional workers, no more than 5uSv/week for the public; reference control level for the highest surrounding dose equivalent rate of attention is no more than 2.5uSv/h
(2) For the top of the inspection room where no personnel are required to reach, the dose rate reference control level at 30 cm from the outer surface of the inspection room is usually 100uSv/h.

5. The door-to-machine interlocking device should be installed in the inspection room, and the X-ray device can be tested after the door is closed. X-ray irradiation should be stopped immediately when the door is opened, and X-ray irradiation cannot be automatically started when the door is closed. The door-to-machine interlocking device should be set up so that personnel inside the inspection room can leave in an emergency.
