X ray inspection--Exposure conditions

Exposure conditions
1. Exposure
X-ray photography, when the focal length is 700mm, the recommended value of the exposure is not less than 15A.min, when the focal length changes, the recommended value of the exposure can be converted according to the exposure factor formula. It can be appropriately reduced when the thin plate butt joint or the thickness variation of the section is large.

2. Exposure curve
(1) The exposure curve should be made for each in-use ray equipment, and the exposure parameters should be determined according to the exposure curve.
(2) The film used for the exposure curve, the intensifying screen, the focal ray energy and other conditions and the sensitivity that the film should reach, the blackness and other parameters should meet the requirements of the standard and conform to the actual conditions.
(3) The exposure curve in use should be verified at least once a year. After the important parts of the ray equipment are replaced or repaired, the exposure curve should be verified or re-made in time.

3. Film processing
(1) The film is processed by manual tank immersion. The procedure is as follows:
(2) The fixing solution should be configured according to the specified method and used after 24 hours of configuration.
(3) Processing of film The specific operation is carried out according to the "Darkroom Operation Procedure".

4. Negative film evaluation
(1) Quality of the film

Film blackness
The blackness in the effective area of the film is 2.0-4.0, but the minimum blackness is allowed to drop to 1.5 when X-rays are used to illuminate small diameter tubes or other workpieces with large variations in section thickness.

The image quality and recognition system on the film is complete and accurate, and the image of the tested butt joint must not be obscured.

The base material area adjacent to the weld on the film shall identify the image quality wire and the length shall not be less than 10mm.
There shall be no improper film processing or other artifacts that impede the accurate evaluation of the film in the effective evaluation area of the film.
