1. Fixed flaw detector
Composition: Magnetized power source, magnetizing coil, workpiece holding device, indicating device, spraying device, lighting device, demagnetizing device, and residual magnetic method. The AC flaw detector should be equipped with a power-off phase controller.
Magnetized power supply: It is the core of the flaw detector. Its function is to provide magnetizing current (including alternating current and direct current) to magnetize the workpiece.

2. Mobile magnetic particle flaw detector
Composition: magnetized power supply, magnetized coil, contact (strut or clamp) and coil (open or closed), indicating device, lighting device, demagnetization device.
Compared with the fixed type, there are few workpiece holding devices, spraying devices, and power-off phase controllers. Due to the heavy weight, it is usually equipped with a roller and can be moved back and forth. The accessories used in combination include the struts, the caliper contacts, the opening and closing, and the closed type. If a flexible cable is used, the current value of the inspection site will be significantly reduced as the cable is extended. If the contact method is used, a micro switch should be installed on the handle to control the magnetizing current time. In addition, the mobile magnetic particle flaw detector also has an automatic demagnetization function.

3. Portable magnetic particle flaw detector
Composition: magnetized power supply, magnetized coil, contact (strut or clamp) and coil (open or closed), indicating device, lighting device. Compared with the fixed type, there are four aspects of the workpiece holding device, the spraying device, the demagnetizing device, and the power-off phase controller.

Portable magnetic particle flaw detector common configuration:
(1) Electromagnetic yoke (including AC and DC): non-electrical contact, no arcing and burns
(2) Cross yoke (including space intersection, plane intersection): Two yoke-shaped electromagnets are formed by spatial or planar cross combination at a certain angle, and are composed of two sets of alternating current excitation magnetization devices of different phases. After the two sinusoidal alternating magnetic fields generated by the two electromagnetic yokes are superimposed, an elliptical rotating magnetic field with a direction change with time can be generated to perform AC magnetization and automatic demagnetization on the workpiece to be probed; it can be used as a continuous method and a residual magnetic method for magnetic particle inspection; It can be used in the workshop or laboratory, and can also be carried to the inspection site.
