Radar method for detecting internal defects and reinforcement positions of concrete
The microblog frequency is 300MHz-300GHz and belongs to electromagnetic waves. It has strong penetrating ability to concrete, and has a large detection depth and is sensitive to internal defects of concrete.

Semi-cell method for detecting corrosion of steel bars
Cracks along the length of the bars are often a sign of more severe corrosion of the bars. The detection of steel corrosion in concrete is mainly based on the electrochemical mechanism of steel corrosion. During the test, the copper sheet immersed in the copper sulfate solution is connected with the steel bar in the concrete, and the measuring contact of the infiltrated copper sulfate solution is moved on the concrete surface. If the corrosion environment and corrosion degree of the steel bar are different, the half cell and the steel bar are measured. The potential difference between the surface half cells is different, so that the half cell potential change across the steel bar is obtained.

Electromagnetic method to detect the position of steel bars

The half-cell method detects dangerous areas of corrosion of steel bars. If the steel bar is not corroded, the passivation state of the surface is good, the half-cell potential is high, and the potential measured by the copper/copper sulfate standard half-cell is generally not lower than -100 mv, and in severe corrosion, the measured potential value may be lower than -400mv.
